FEMA Purposefully Cutting Emergency Communication Lines in LA!

Broussard on Meet the Press:
" We have been abandoned by our own country."

There is something seriously wrong people!

My wife just watched the head of FEMA blame the local officials saying that the first responsibility is theirs (which is true). However, after watching the above clip, there can be no doubt that the local officials were impeded from doing their job by FEMA!

Please note: It has come to my attention that the sob story at the end of this clip, may have been embellished or falsified, which is very sad. Never the less, the other activities by FEMA have not been disputed what-so-ever.

The response of FEMA was disturbing. The response of the President was disturbing. The idea that all the people left were just poor was disturbing. There were many working class people who used public transportation, and many old and many children. This is a bad time for conservatives. I am no liberal, as you can see from by website, but I am for separation of church state, as Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world". If President Bush's response, on a personal level was compassionate, I have some land in New Orleans that I want to sell you! Even in his attempt at smooth over, he referred to Trent Lott's house, went to a upper middle class neighborhood with not as much damage, and spent time in Baton Rouge instead of in the devasted areas. Mr Rove even botched the smoothover for his boss! Certainly they sort of are getting on top of it now, but they blew it and it is not deniable by any sane person. Indeed, this hurricane had hurricane winds of 205 miles in diameter, compared to the usual diameter of less than 50 miles. Was no one in the Bush administration watching the weather channel? Even Pat Buchanan and Scarborough from MSNBC have said that the President and government dropped the ball and should have anticipated the damage from the description of this hurricane alone.
